Flexible schedule day and night, to encourage and provide residents with the opportunity to speak with me whenever it is convenient for them.
When a situation arises I take immediate action to solve a problem, including coordinating with other organizations or entities if necessary to get the job done.

  • Helped with writing town's Comprehensive Plan and zoning ordinance
  • Supported establishment of cell service in town
  • Supported and assisted in successful preservation of "critical viewshed" farmland
  • Aggressively seeking DEC and county's sole responsibility for landfill closure
  • Partnering with LVBA to improve town and attract businesses
  • Diffused issue with DOT over Hannaford project, and moved it forward
  • Co-ordinated with LVPA and law enforcement for management of severe weather emergencies   
  • Contracted with new ambulance service
  • Careful management of budget for four years
  • 0% tax levy for 2011 budget
  • Challenged OSC to correct audit inaccuracies
  • Actively involved with Shaker Museum to expedite their establishment at Mt. Lebanon
  • Supporting preservation of conservation lands by town and county entities
  • In negotiations to bring another bank to town

Outreach:
  • Strong voice for the town at the county level
  • Endorsed by the Hudson Valley Association of Labor Federation of the AFL-CIO
  • Maintaining communications with State representatives to assist with town issues

  • Writing a noise ordinance
  • Writing of additional "overlay" pieces for new zoning
